What's your budget? Brushless or brushed? Mud and water or no? What battery will you be using?

Radio FlySky GT3C
FLY SKY GT3C 2.4ghz 3-Channel Radio Transmitter and Receiver w/ LCD+Lipo Battery

ESC HObbywing wp1080
https://www.hobbywingdirect.com/prod...nt=26223842568

Motor Traxxas Titan 21T
TowerHobbies.com | Traxxas Titan 550 Motor 21T E-Maxx

3S lipo, no more than 3500mah to keep weight down, I'd go with around 2200 to 3000mah personally.
Helios RC
Value Hobby
etc.

I'd agree with all of that except the battery. In a big, heavy rig like a Bomber I like 5000mAh batteries for longer run time.

You lie!!!! There is no Axial stock anywhere! j/k

Nice pick up.

I also agree with the Hobbywing 1080 for Esc, and FlySky GT3C for radio.

HW WP80+Titan 550 21T on 3S is really affordable and goes decently fast to boot. Crawls really well.

This is what I personally run; I imagine you'll be really impressed for the money. I definitely was.

Your ambient temp will ultimately decide your gearing. Hardcore crawling in hot weather might require a 2sp as the low gearing options in the RR10 is very limited; my stock Bomber would have needed a 2sp even with the stock motor on 2S in the Aussie summer if I wanted to crawl for say 15-20 minutes straight...I needed the 550 can with the stock gearing. I'm looking at the 2sp for summer; zero interest in brushless as I'm so happy with the above setup. It's awesome.

Small budget=these two are definite winners in that category.

I have had a couple minor issues with my FlySky(s), nothing that wasn't fixable in the basement or anything that would stop me from buying another.

Will vanquish wheel hubs work with the stock wheel hexes on the bomber kit?

They look like they have a little slop when you rotate the wheel. The slop is

gone when you tighten the wheel.

Thanks

Don't waste your time trying to fix up the stock wheels. Plenty of metal beadlocks under $100, or the knocks offs for $60.

or just put some extra 2200mahs in your pockets...

pretty much all i run are the 3s 2200s, perfect size imo but i do rock the big packs in my yeti and slash.

4PLS. The 4th channel will come in handy down the road.

My Bomber is power hungry. 2200mAh batteries don't last long. Plus, I like the extra weight of the 5000mAh battery up front. It helps when crawling.
