Default Trans rebuild help

I have a scx10.II running a stock servo and receiver/transmitter. The motor is a castle creations 2850 crawler and the ESC is the mamba monster X. Everything else is stock on my rig. Oh it's an rtr rig.
Im looking for help on how to make the transmission bullet proof. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

I'd suggest grabbing an RC4WD AX2 2 speed transmission. For what you're going to spend in the upgraded bearings, upgraded gears and case, it'll only be a few more bucks to grab the 2 speed, and you'll end up with better crawlability and better top end

the 2 speed trans is pointless on the sensored brushless setup you have, you can buy the HR aluminum cased trans complete with steel gears on ebay for 88 bucks...This is what I do when I feel the need for a HD trans.

Thank you all for the replies. I'll take some time look them over and compare them and make a decision and hopefully have something by the end of the week.

Thank you all. I went with the HR pre assembled for now. It was affordable and will be here Thursday. Got a social crawl this weekend.
