Default Spacer question

I bought a deadbolt and noticed there is a spacer between transmission and spur gear. What is that for ? I had never seen this before. I bought it used.

Yes, probably running the stock plastic optional slipper eliminator, much better than with slipper. LockedUpRC sells a nice one too.

Not the slipper eliminator, you can see the slipper spring and discs still there. Pretty sure it's just to pull the slack from the input shaft. I bought a trans from eBay recently and that's how it came. I believe it used to be just 3 plastic spacers.

So it there any way to bring it back to normL length? If you notice the spur gear on the motor has to be out front also. It works fine but just looks very different from the other 2 scx10s I've had.

Is there slipper pads on both sides? Could be 32p top shaft with 48p spur and single pad setup? Tbh not really sure now

That is ax31180, top shaft spacer for 32p trans. Totally normal bit of plastic for your deadbolt. But after looking at my wraith manual I will say yours does look a little off, like maybe there is an extra spacer behind that one

Metal/plastic it's supposed to be there lol. Deadbolt has the updated trans with 32dp pinion/spur gears, same as my wraith spawn. But looking at that picture something looks off I will say that

supposed to be there if it was a wraith i guess.....it should have AX30499 trans spacer in it. axial has it listed for $7. It could be that you need the wraith spacer if you mirror but ive never looked into it. wish someone smarter than me would chime in

The slipper on the deadbolt is not the same at the slipper on the dingo kit, and they didn't change the top shaft length to make up for the changes. Thus the spacer
