I'm a n00b too and there is a ton of info on this forum about the Gen7. Try starting here (@ the ink below) and then branching out into specific areas of interest as you learn more from the wealth of experience and knowledge contained in these pages. RCCrawler Brand Specific Tech - Redcat RS10 at RCCrawler.com I just started reading everything I could about the Gen7 and then picked a specific topic (like 'tires' or 'steering upgrades') that I wanted to know more about and searched within this particular forum using those key words. Works well and everyone is happy to help you with your new hobby. |

Here's my upgrade thread, which also has my upgrade videos. This, along with the forum link above should get you started. Redcat Gen7 Sport project Last edited by Jim85IROC; 12-09-2017 at 01:41 PM. |

Got my Gen7 Pro for Christmas I absolutely love it so far. Tons of fun. Just driven it inside and in the snow thus far and its a blast. My son's E10 is awesome too and he loves it. He likes that his is a bit more extreme (bigger tires, more articulation) and can climb over stuff I can't. We're having a blast and already have modded the steering on both rigs to turn a bit sharper. I (We) highly recommend. |

I enjoy mine. Haven't had any problems with it. I've done the free upgrades and am now looking to spend a Lil moolah on it. May try out some of those aluminum parts. Shiiiiiny lol
