Default Tires and motor

Hi I have a scx10 ii Cherokee and I am stuck between the 1.9 boggers or 2.2 mudslingers, I like to play in mud and Just hill climb and some crawling any help? Also my motor and esc went out so I got a Quicrun esc and for what I like to do I don’t know if I should get a 27t or 35t rc4wd motor thanks for the help!

Kind of depends.

The 2.2 mudslingers are better in real loose stuff, plus the wider carcass they float over the soft terrain better and decent on pure rocks.

The 1.9 boggers have a softer compound, an do pretty good on rocks, and mud.

I don't know the cherokee is probably as big as the old school hpi body....
For the motor, there is not much difference honestly. Trade off is run time for wheelspeed.

You're asking for recommendations, you're going to get a variety... But definitely stick with 1.9 wheels and tires as 2.2 won't be the least bit to scale. Either motor, 27t is faster. 35t for more low speed control.

every 27t I've had wore down to quick and had to keep rebuilding them. I prefer the 35t
