Default Gen7 pro stopped working

Hi my son has a new gez 7 pro. While driving in the snow it just stopped and I cant get it to work again. The esc is blinking rapidly and sometimes when I plug in the battery the throttle will work for a few seconds but not the steering. Any help is would be good. He is bummed and wants to drive it.

Sounds like the receiver or ESC is having problems. Since it's new and probably still under warranty, I'd recommend contacting Redcat:

Let them know that you couldn't find any reference to the issue on Rccrawler.com where you're a member, and let us know how it goes.

If they aren't able to help you, we'll do our best to get your son's rig going again. ;)

Sounds like maybe something got wet and is glitching it out. Unplug the battery, pull the receiver box cover off and let everything dry out overnight. Put it close to a heater register. Check it again tom after 12 hours or so.

Exactly what I was thinking! If the above does not work you will probably need to contact Redcat tech support.

This happened to my TRX-4 and I had to carry it home. Ended up having to replace my ESC. My Gen7 (driven by my girlfriend) blasted through the snow all the way home during a winter storm.
