| Got a question about the trx4
So I’m looking to build a trx4 with a Rc4wd blazer body on it, but will it fit without any frame cutting because I know that the wheel base is different but will I have to do tons of modifications to get it to fit? And if you know what modifications would have to be done please tell me. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes, you will have to do a good amount of cutting on the TRX4 to get it to fit. First you will have to adjust the WB. My TRX4 is now at 12.3" and the back wheels are right up against the running boards, to get to 11.3" (the Blazer's WB) you'll have to likely make your own. You will also have to get rid of several inches of frame to get the body to sit properly. You will also likely want to run with fender flares. |

You could get 2 bodies and make a crew cab and/or longbed pickup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If you want a Blazer body on your TRX4 take a look at the Vaterra Ascender Blazer. That body is darn near a drop on fit for the TRX4 chassis. It requires only minor adjustments to the body mounts and requires no WB change or permanent frame cutting should you get tired of the Blazer at some point in the future. If you decide to go this route I can tell you what changes I made. Last edited by Inspector86; 01-18-2018 at 06:08 PM. |

Yea that’s very nice but I have decided away from that I’m gonna be buying a TRX4 custom truggy cage from Johnsonfabco so if you want some pictures I should have some of it done in the next few months because it’s gonna take a good amount of time to build it but thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

The Axial SCX10 will fit the RC4WD Blazer body and the bumper mounts right in the stock bumper holes of the chassis. The blazers mine and I love having it on the axial chassis, Hope this helps https://www.instagram.com/p/BH3a3Z5AKy-/?hl=en |

So i built the TRX chassis kit because i like the builds, but then ordered a clear defender body so i could paint it myself, buuut.....the defender body DOES NOT fit the chassis kit!!!! Looks like the new inner fenders mounted on the chassis keep it from dropping on the frame!!!! DAMN IT!!!! Also, the body posts/holes on body do not line up perfectly either!! AM I MISSING SOMETHING?? Did they change that much on the chassis kit??!!!! SOO AGRAVATED NOW!!!! GRRRRRRRR!!!

IIRC the kit is for 12.3" wheelbase, so you'd need to add rear upper and lower links for the longer Defender 110 body, inner fenders are different and bolt to the body, not the frame. You'll need the fender flares that also bolt to the body and inner fenders. Bumpers is up to you, I made my own with better ground clearance and strength, which ones came in the kit?

The different wheel bases: Bronco/Chassis kit (12.28") 12.3" (312mm) Defender/Tactical (12.75") 12.8" (324mm) |

Welcome to RC, home of modding. If you like engineering solutions to problems, you'll do fine. If you want bolt on solutions, might not be the best hobby unless you stay within the lines of a kit that comes with a body.
