If you have lots of time on your hands you should do a blazer hardbody like mine. I’m not done yet but I’m close.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Coolest bodies for the TRX4 That looks really cool trex4Owner. What do you guys think about the Team Raffee Co. bodies? |

Well what in specific like d110 d90 now for looks team raffee makes awesome bodies but (I’m not expert) but I think for any body from team rafffe other than there d110 or the g-wagon I think you would have to make you own links or just buy shorter links and cut the driveshafts and do mods like that the d110 and g-wagon should just be making the wheelbase longer and don’t take my word 100% just my thoughts I have no clue other than for what you have to do to get a blazer body or hilux body to fit. And thanks btw my truck is a absolute mess but it’s getting there. Good luck on yours Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Coolest bodies for the TRX4 The TRX-4 is a standard-size 1.9" scale crawler, so you should be able to fit any 1.9" scale crawler body onto it. Keep in mind that a hardbody will make it much easier to tip over, and you'll scratch the paint on a regular basis. |
Re: Coolest bodies for the TRX4 I'm going to be running a Bullhead body. Hardbody heavy and your CG center of gravity will be a little bit higher with a hardbody. Unless mine is just different and just plain heavy. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...eed6f8810e.jpg Sent from my FRD-L14 using Tapatalk |
Re: Coolest bodies for the TRX4 Note the Defender TRX4 has a 12.8” wheelbase and the Bronco TRX4 has a 12.3” wheelbase Chief |
Re: Coolest bodies for the TRX4 What exactly is a hard body? I'm running a gen 7 pro and I believe it's a lexan body? Is that classified as a soft body? |

Re: Coolest bodies for the TRX4 Check this post for what might be the coolest (but possibly hardest to keep upright on the rocks) hardbody out there: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/traxx...ml#post5892257 |
Re: Coolest bodies for the TRX4 "thumbsup" I like the idea of the Blazer Hard Body, is that a rc4wd body or Clodbuster? I Am running a Vaterra Ascender Blazer Body on My TRX 4 Sport and it fits the Chassis Very Well!! I’ll try to post pics but I’m new here so I am not sure if I can yet.. |
Re: Coolest bodies for the TRX4 2 Attachment(s) IMO, the RC4WD Blazer hard body is just too small to be a good fit on the TRX4 chassis. It is not a hard body but here is the Traxxas TRX4 K5 Blazer body in black on the TRX4 chassis. It is a very nicely detailed body. |

Re: Coolest bodies for the TRX4 The Proline 4runner lexan body is like $45 and looks pretty great. Had to trim the fender flares on my Bronco to fit it on but I'm pretty satisfied with it. If you are looking to shell out some $$, I'm personally very intrigued by the RC4WD 1985 Hardbody 4Runner. Also i think the Bronco body sold by Traxxas is really just one of the very best looking bodies out there. |
Re: Coolest bodies for the TRX4 I picked up a newbright "Brocky" rock crawler, On 2.2'a it looks great. https://i.imgur.com/UBUc16Jl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/VKIKIPLl.jpg |
Re: Coolest bodies for the TRX4 Just sat the Axial 69 Blazer on it.., fits front post.., might try shortening the wheelbase cause the defender is so rear/ top/ everywhere heavy;) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2c53fab265.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
