I'll likely be asking plenty of questions...........and will of course post pics when done. But for now...............hey, nice to meet ya.

Hey all, I am Ty, I am from PA.

My rig....is non existent. I dont have much money right now but I am DYING to get my hands on one of these suckers. One of my good friends that I go Jeepin with (I have a 1996 XJ so I get the addiction) has a Losi MRC 1/18 RTR and I love that thing. I can already picture myself getting one, and doing a bunch of homemade mods like caging it and all of that fun stuff. I am hoping not to spend TOO much money seeing that I am into every expensive hobby on this earth it seems.

Anyways, I am rambling. Thats where I am at.

Here is my rig. Its a bit of an old pic, but you get the idea

Default Just purchased my first crawler

Hello all, My name is Dan. I'm from Glendale, AZ. I'm a total noob to crawlin and rc in general. I have been an offroader for nearly 30 yrs. I was into VW bajas for most of that time. You can checkout my website at http://www.bajas.8m.com/ . Two years ago I sold my baja and bought a killer Jeep Grand Cherokee. About a year ago someone sent me a youtube crawlin link. It took me a few seconds to realize they were RC jeeps, nice scalers. I thought that's so cool. Much more intersting than speed bashing. So I've been lurking around checking out different rigs. I almost bought the Losi MRC and was actually looking on ebay to see what was available when I came across the Redcat RS-10. After watching some vids on U-tube and looking at some forums I decided to take the plunge. I found one on sale at http://www.xenonproject.com/rc-trucks/electric/ for $120 with free shipping. That clinched it for me. I know some of you guys think they are crap, but I thought it looked like an excellent entry level rig with decent mod possablilities. My main concern was replacement parts, but I found a couple places on line that sold them, so I decided to go for it. If I loose interest I'm not out to much and if I like the sport and decide to purchase something else I have something for a guest to play around with. Anyway I hope to have it next week. In the meantime I will be surfing the threads looking for mods.

Name is Tommy, live in Colorado, about 25 miles west of Colorado Springs. I dont have an RC crawler yet, but was refered here while looking around on Pirate4x4. Was told to come check the classifieds here to get an idea of what is out there. Anyhow, just getting into the RC thing and trying to learn what works and what doesnt.

Default The Latest Newb

I've been lurking for a little while now. Got an ax10 a couple months ago and can't stop upgrading. I also can't keep my sons hands off the crawler. He's hooked too. Great site.

Default General bashing

Hello, My name is Dan and I have been in and out of r/c for awhile now.
Looking at these crawlers for genearal bashing( mudding, small jumps, hill climbing and generally just having fun). Looks like the Wheely King Crawler may be what I am looking for.
Thanks for the site and all the info. it contains!

Hey all! I'm Ian from South Carolina. Been into RC bashing for about 4 years now, and recently got into crawling. Currently working on my first rig, a custom tuber based around Axial axles (most of the rest is home built). Found this site while working on a still unfinished sandrail, the brazing guide really helped with both projects.

Hey i am new here, i live in Washington state and i have a slash and am converting an mgt 4.6 to electric, i am also trying to build a comp crawler because i just found a group that holds comps in western WA. I have a axial based scaler that is not really a scaler any more, it is just a beastly truck.

Hey all the name's Garrett and I picked up my first crawler yesterday. As you can see its the Losi MRC and I've been having a blast. Can't wait till the LHS gets some upgrades in so I can start tinkering with this bad boy.
