Default Hello all

Looks like a great community you have here. I am looking forward to participating in the forum. I had a Tamiya Hornet and a Traxxas Cat about 20 years ago. I have two young boys now and I decided getting back in to RC would be fun for all 3 of us. I bought a Traxxas Stampede VXL used off of Ebay and ran that for a bit. I still enjoy bashing with that truck, but I noticed this whole rock crawler thing and figured I would try that out as well. I recently purchased a Venom Creeper and put a Tekin FXR and Tekin 35T in it. I am using my Traxxas TQ 2 channel radio with it that I got with the Stampede. There is snow on the ground here so I haven't done much crawling outside but I really enjoyed the build and I am excited about getting some crawling time in. So far I have conquered a number of laundry piles and some really challenging courses designed by my three year old using his least favorite toys and whatever was in the general vicinity at the time.
Looking forward to participating on the board.

New guy here too. I am currently in Salt Lake City but heading to Bozeman, MT here in about a month. I am just getting into crawling or electrics in general. I used to race Revo's when they first came out and I ran some T-Maxx's too. Getting out or Nitro and really interested in crawling. Bought my first crawler, losi micro, and immediately had to go back and buy the mini. Love them both so far. Probably looking to do some 1.9 comps this year and maybe even a 2.2 if I can make my mind up on a rig. Good to be here and I look forward to meeting a few of you in the near future. Thanks.

Craig,

Hi, I'm Greg and new to crawlers. I got a Losi MRC for Christmas and I love it. It's been too snowy here in CO to take it outdoors yet, but it's been a blast around the house. I did a few mods already and just finished a body for it, but I want to get some better tires and go out and play.

I guess I'm "new" to the site, been lurking for a year or so and have just recently begin work on a tube chassis. This is going to be a budget build/first time build for me so we will see how it goes. I'm in school at ECU in Greenville NC.

Hey everyone!
Been lurking on here for a while. Finally decided to post up. Sorry it took me so long. I'm not new to RC but am new to RC crawling.

Three rigs on the shelf today:
Stampede that I put together over 10 years ago. Slipper clutch, all the bearings, 9T motor, Rooster ESC etc. . .

Got the wife a Venom Creeper in green for christmas and now she's hooked. Novak 55T and Rooster Crawler with some Hitech Tx/Rx. We're waiting for aluminium c-hubs, which we keep thrashing.

Picked up a stock Losi Night Crawler for a song, needs a ESC.

Thanks for the good tech on here, I'll post up some pics when I get a chance.

This site is great. I've been doing alot of reading and decided to buy a Redcat racing RS10 because it looked like a good entry level crawler.

Here is the one I bought off ebay. It cam with hitec 645's front and rear and a set of white rovers that I have to mount up.

Here is what I had before

New member here. I'm Cliff and live in the Sacramento area. I picked up a Losi Micro Crawler yesterday and have been really freaking out our cat, lol. I'm not new to RC, I have a B4, SC10 and a Mini-T. I love the kit builds, so I'm going to pick up an SCX10 soon. At this point, I don't think I'll be doing comps, but you never know. I like the pictures of the rigs and how everyone on here is helpful. Have a great day all!
