Default How unlock rr10 currie ar60 diffrential ?

Well, I ran my just put togther rr10. It seems bit stiff. It locks up as i release throttle. Gusse that's good stick to side of rock. I normally just like run around a dirt track I built. I read about unlocked and locked , but can't find the how to do so. If someone could explain how unlock.
I installed 43/13 in front I think and 38 /13 in rear. I can't reamber, but its way most folks here have done it.
Thanks

I think what you're talking about is the drag brake. Do you mean the wheels stop turning immediately after you release the throttle?

Underdrive goes in back, not front.

Yes , wheels stop. The bugy will just about flip over . I thought unlocked and locked differentials had somthing do with it.

43/13 is a higher ratio, which means the wheels turn slower, so that is the underdrive set.

No, unlocking your diffs is something completely different, you want to turn off the drag brake. What ESC are you using?

Drag brake is what is getting you. Mamba X has the ability to turn it on and off using your radio if you have a spare channel available. Its the plug with the white wire. You just have to set it up with the link. If you cant do that, you could just lower the strength on your drag brake or turn it off all together if you aren't crawling it.

Are you wanting the truck for a crawler, or U4/KoH (fast) style truck?

If you are going after a crawler, you want the over/under diffs and drag brake. If you are wanting a U4 style rig, then you want to turn off the drag brake and go with the same ratios in both axles (maybe go a little under in the back).

I did not know that, thank you for mentioning that, that will really change some things for me.

I thought I was going run figure 8 track. Go as fast as I could . Slide around turns. But I think this bomber tumbles over instead of sliding. Wrong truck.
It's built now.
I drove it about ten mints today, it really feels like it would clime. Seems bit stiff to. Maybe shorter shocks would help the tumbling over?
It's knot stopping as harsh today. I loosened up slipper clutch. Had remove housing. The Robison set up was rubbing housing plate .
It's kinda pain work on. Got remove cage to do work. Install cage hold it up, test out what you done. Back an forth

Be careful loosening up the slipper, its not something I would want to slip very often, it can get hot and glaze over then just slip always.

for the tumbling. The weight on the bomber is high, and I try to keep the center of gravity down low by adding weight to the axles. This can get expensive. Also there are torsion bar kits for the rear that will help with left turns.
