| Traxass TRX 4 Sport with new steering servo
I just installed a Savox 1210 SG steering servo. The only mods I've made to the truck so far are 2.2" wheels/tires. The servo seems to work ok but I get a buzzing noise from the receiver. I can fiddle with the steering trim on the controller & it will stop buzzing. As soon as I touch the steering wheel it starts buzzing again. I'm still running the stock electronics. Would an external BEC cure this? Or did I screw something up or is there another answer? Thanks |

Just make sure the servo is centered with the steering and that the end points are set correctly and you should be fine. For the end points, at full throw on the steering input (TX) the steering should be driving into the stops just enough so that you here the servo protest a little bit (a little louder buzzing than normal). | |

Also, before you install any BEC, your next upgrade should be the HW Quickrun WP1080 ESC.

Sounds like you might need a BEC, but before you do that, unplug your servo and see if the buzzing is still there. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk |

First of all, I want to apologize. After closer examination - it is in fact the Savox servo buzzing, not the receiver. And to answer the last question, I'm running the stock XL5 HV receiver.
