New guy HPI Venture
 

I just bought one, but I don't see a lot about it. Did I make a mistake in buying it?

I've wheeled it a bunch in the last two weeks and I broke the servo yesterday. Pretty quick fix.

Anyone else fix one up with a different body?

No, I don’t think you made a mistake. The truck gets pretty big kudos from the folks who have them / use them. The only complaint I’ve heard is that there isn’t as much aftermarket available for it compared to Axial, Traxxas rigs.

Have you checked out the HPI Venture thread here on the forums? That’s where you’ll find all the info you need on mods, upgrades, aftermarket parts, tips/tricks, and pictures of builds with different bodies.

Also, search Hemistorm on youtube. The HPI is one of his favorite outta the box scale rigs.

I kinda wanna buy the kit. I was eyeballing some used trx4’s locally but $200 aint bad considering.
