High clearance knuckles

Do HCK give you more of a turning radius, or are they just for looks ?

That would likely depend on which vehicle you're asking about.

On my original scx10 rigs they did turn tighter as long as aI put in cvd's or universal joint axle shafts at the same time. This being said, if you use the high clearance knuckles, your steering link will need changed as the stock one will no longer work.

Buy? You really need to start building your own links. You'll enjoy the flexibility.

something else to think about if you have a axle mounted servo the servo link could interfear with the steering link if your running a chassie mounted servo it will play havic with your steering geomitry not a big deal but it will take a bit of tinkering to fix it

I thought these were just to move the track rod up.

I have a chassis mount servo , how does the cms play havoc to the steering geometry, just because its in a different location?

On the steering knuckles(the arm that holds the steering link together) hits the chub when locked left or right. So if i would get HCK im thinking that the knuckle won't hit the chub anymore , so a better steering angle i would be getting? That's how im looking at it, might be wrong tho ?

As the chassis moves up and down it changes the distance to Servo is from the knuckle. This causes the steering to vary due to terrain changes.
