Tire come down to terrain and personal preference. I have ran Hyraxes, Boggers and IROKs on my truck. All have preformed well. Hyraxes do better on just rock the IROKs are good intermediate and the Boggers are great on trails and wet soil. This is all my personal opinion. Next I want to try the Pitbull Rock Beast.

I run 2.2 Hyraxs and love them. They dont like sandy mud, as they dont clean out. Ive run Super Swampers XL in those conditions. I do love the Pitbull Growlers in the 1.9 flavor.

Bottom line, Tires are highly personal preference, and terrain dependent, check with your local buddies to see what will work in your area.

With all due respect, these kind of posts hurt my head. Best what? Price? Look? Performance? There is no "THE BEST...."

As RedneckCowboy says, it comes down to personal preference. Do a little searching, find a tire you like the looks of and can afford, then ask any questions you have. You'll get far better responses.

The Proline Hyrax in G8 compound are a great tire! Good for all conditions.
