My first crawler was the original ECX Barrage. It wasn't that great so I sold it and didn't have a crawler for a while. Not long after that, they released the Gen 2 which fixed all the things that frustrated me about the original

My original crawler was an SCX10, absolutely loved it from the moment I unboxed it, the whole build, choosing electrics, painting the body etc... It was a lot of firsts for me in the hobby as a whole, don't regret any of it, that was about six years ago now, I'd been into other sides of the hobby too, but plug 'n' play RTRs.
Still own most of that truck to this day, it's now retired though, but I might rebuild it one day as a shelfer and for nostalgia.
