Default Weight ratio

Hi

Whats a good weight ratio between front and rear axle for a 1/10scale crawler for rock crawling and trails?
60% in the front ? More?

I try to set my scalers at close to 60 front 40 rear. Key thing to remember is keeping the added weight as low as you can get it. With these trucks COG is king!

Both are great answers.

Like A lot of other mods we do to our tiny trucks its trial and error. As well as for where you are crawling/trail riding talk to local guys you might go with and see what is working for them.

Thank you guys...makes me think a bit ;) I guess I will stay with the 60/40% for my style of riding.

Since I don't have a style yet, and I was instructed to get portal weights for the front, I think I'm gonna too...

I always balance to roughly 60/40 give or take about 5.

Just depends where that rig feels best but somewhere between 55/45 - 65/35
