Default What type of body?

I enjoy watching the national scale crawling completions on u-tub. I can pretty much tell what type of chassis and link setup these rigs are running, but what has me curious are the bodies. I know they aren’t lexan clip ons. They appear to me to be metal. By the look and the way they sound. Am I thinking correctly? Are these guys fabbing their own bodies? They look just like a truck, a vw bug, or even a dodge power wagon.

Default Re: What type of body?

Without a video hard to tell, best guess it hard plastic body and metal bumpers and sliders. Most are running since scale comps reward for scale points of a build.

Here is a link to the scale rules for class trucks
