half power pls help

newbie- my kyosho foxx VE seems to be only running at half the speed it normally does, any input on what the problem could be would be greatly appreciated. thanx

What electronics are in the truck? Change any electronics before the issue started? Did you try recalibrating the esc/radio?

I’d start with making sure you have good batteries in your controller then maybe check out the esc, pretty much just trial and error from then on ... that would be my thought process atleast idk much

i have a KR-200 syncro transmitter and an orion esc, i tried to convert it to double castle 60,000 rpm max motors with double mamba monster 2s but need to many odds and ends. so i switch back to the original setup (the one i have now) and it’s running sluggish or half power it seems like. My battery’s checked out just fine as well. and now the back wheels don’t even spin when i hit the throttle

Possibly gear mesh between transmission spur gear and motor pinion gear too tight? Remove pinion gear from motor and see if axles and transmission spin freely.
