Trying to figure out how to convert .3 of a inch. If a body has a wheel base of 12.3 how much is the .3? Thanks for any help.

This is a useful converter https://www.ginifab.com/feeds/cm_to_inch/

.3"= 5/16" or 7.6mm

I usually bring it down to .25, aka 1/4" I personally cannot tell the differance between 12.25, and 12.3.

Technically, it's closer to 19/64"

A 12.3" wheelbase equals 312.42 (basically 313mm)

Just remember, in RC, things are not "scale". they are "scale-ish". Trying to do the exact math for something to match up on a 1/10-scale body/build is more or less an exercise in frustration. The best bet is to put a ruler on the part and get the particular measurement you are wanting.

Yea i was just asking because i was trying to figure out how much difference there is in a 12 inch wheel base and a 12.3 I have a original scx10 G6 and it has a 12 inch wheel base most bodies i see and like have a 12.3 just curious if it is a noticable difference where i'd want to change the links so the axles don't look out of place. Thanks guy's.

Before you change the links, depending on what kind, they may have a little ajustability in them already. If you can get both the front and back in .15" you're good to go. That said, as mentioned above, I'd wait till you have both the chassis and body till you do any.

Good luck. Post pictures!

Typically Its best to adjust the rear only so you aren't messing up the steering geometry on the front end.
