I need RC cars below $200

I want to buy new the best remote control cars under $200 for my collection. Any forum member knows which RC cars will be best for me.

You won't get much for under $200. If you double that you can buy something actually worth owning.

Welcome to the site! I don't think you can get any quality 1/10th scale crawler or scaler for $200 or less, but you can get good RC cars. The Traxxas Bandit, Rustler, Slash or Stampede can all be had for under $200 and they are great vehicles!

Not sure if you specifically meant 1/10th scale or not. If scale is not a specific want, take a look at the ECX Barrage. I have the Gen 1 version and have had no issues with it at all other then the steering servo went (which Horizon Hobby promptly replaced with an upgraded one ). Had lots of fun with it. Does it run with the same performance as a "twice the price" 1/10 trail crawler, no but for $180 it's a lot of fun. Plus it's a "hobby grade" vehicle so replacement parts and limited hop up parts are available.

I’ve had good luck with ecx cars. The hobby shops locally stock replacement parts. I’ve set my 5 yr old nephew up with an amp mt that he really hammers. Which lead my brother in-law to get them both ecx barrages and I ended up getting one too. Ecx usually has rtr kits under 200 that include everything needed including tx batteries. I’d also suggest the Traxxas stampede. There are parts to make it into all kinds of different vehicles and most all lhs have a great selection of parts.

I have 1:10 Legendary. It is a great truck, decent price - definitely one of the best rc cars under 200$ here! I assume it is the brushed version, which is more fun than the brushless IMO, just played with my 6 year old kid yesterday, fun fun fun... so much fun for both of us.

For a crawler I would go with either the Redcat Everest 10, or the Axial Deadbolt. My son and I have put the Everest through every possible terrain and drove it hard for a long time, but it still is rock solid in it's reliability.

im surprized no one sead anything about the gen 7 at 199 its old tech but its a solid rig and i think team assosiated make a 1/12 scale rig in that price range theres also the tamiya rigs you can get a cc01 for under 200 and they make som3 cool stuff too
