Default add dig to scx10.2 kit transmission?

I did a number of searches and I don't believe this is possible, but want to be sure - can you add dig to a scx10.2 kit style transmission?

If I want to add dig to my UMG, do I need to switch it out with a scx10 (og) style transmission instead?

I know that Vanquish makes a difference that mates to the 3-gear AX-style trans, but that's the only SCX10-capable dig in currently aware of...not that I know much, being the crawler newb I am.

The VP Hurtz V2 dig is what you are thinking. Disclaimer-not a VP fan boy. The Hurtz dig unit is really well build and priced reasonably, especially if you pair it with a cheap aluminum transmission case.

You can also use the Wraith transmission with axial's dig unit. But if going from a scx10 you will need wraith outdrives and a case. after that and the dig unit you are at $48.00, for $78.00 you get the VP unit which is far an away better. I have two axial digs and on VP, I'd always buy the VP dig now.

Sorry no, but you might get someone willing to trade you for one. Does the umg10 come with two skids? because you'll need the old style skid also.

thanks for the replies. I have a older scx10 v1 based build I could swap the trans over to instead, so I can rob the one it's running - for the dig setup.
