I don’t let people buy me hobby things as gifts, I’m too picky and they always get the wrong thing no matter how specific I am. My gifts are usually from me and involve Amazon gift cards haha. I already have a full cart just waiting on some codes

Our household didn't get a ton of rc stuff like we usually do, but I did get a Treal 7075 billet front axle housing for my Capra. My wife and older son got new motorcycle helmets, my older son got a Nintendo something or other, and my younger son got a full electric drum set... yes, on purpose!

She wasn't real amused lol she's not into the hobby but I thought it would be fun to do together. She said well you can borrow it if you want lol.

My wife got me a Sand Scorcher. (I picked it out.... ) I wanted one since I was a kid when I saw it in the back of a Popular Science or similar magazine. I even wrote Tamiya a letter asking questions about it and sure enough, they responded and sent it back. Way to much money back then.
