Looking for a samurai body to make a replica of one of my friends rigs.

does anyone know where I can get one?

Proline Sumo Is an option but it is discontinued. Someone might have some stock hiding out somewhere.

I might have to get one... Build it to match my linked and coiled crawler in the shop.. A scale of my build would be pretty cool

honestly only need the hood.

has anyone built a scale crawler using a portion of frame and then tubed the rear out?

These are not quite as detailed as the ProLine Sumo was, but are super cheap (they have a deal for 3 for under $50)- they seem to be popular over in Asia for comps - Team C Clear Samurai 1/10 Rock Crawler Body For 295mm Chassis:
