I avoid water like the plague. I'll occasionally splash through some shallow creeks, but never, ever more than axle high. I don't run waterproof electronics in any way and as long as I'm careful, have never fried anything.

I go to Adrenalin from time to time. I haven't been there since the virus and it is a nice facility but I don't do comps. My first crawler was an RTR but all the rest were built from parts. I really like the TRX4 and the SCX10ii/iii. I retired about five years ago and have found the RC Crawlers to be very relaxing.

Like you, I retired a bit ago. I am looking to get back into RC but not competitive stuff. I have access to a couple of hundred acres to play in so trail walking / crawling looks interesting. It was fun to watch the comp but I don't want to compete.

Similar story here. I have been planning on retiring (partially) this year. In prep, I build a factory (shed) to build RCs.
