Which cables go together?

The wires that came out of my motor are:


Black
Red
White


I bought an extension cable that is:


Brown
Red
Orange




Do I hook up B,R,W to B, R, O?


Or


B,R,W to O,R,B?

Doesn't matter. Assuming the wires are the same gauge. It's merely an extension. Just make sure the motor and ESC wires are connected properly.

Plug it in. If it spins the wrong way swap 2 of the wires.

Are you for sure talking about coming out of your motor? Sounds like you're talking about servo leads in which case:

Black=Brown, Red=Red, White=Orange
(Ground, power, signal)

Thinking the same thing... Those two combos are specific to RX wires. Most of the motors wires I have (factory) are black.

Are these big 12ga wires, or small 22ga wires?

If they are really motor wires (although I doubt it, as the others stated above) just unplug from ESC *one at a time*, and insert *any* extension color in place.
