Wraith Swawn going in reverse when connecting battery

As soon as the battery is connected the vehicle immediately goes in reverse, I don't know if its a defective esc.. I bought the vehicle semi used. The guy who sold it said he only ran it for an hour . He never mentioned any issues. I adjusted the speed control on the remote control so the vehicle will stay braked . I don't know if anyone has come across this. The esc/remote is a Tactic. I thought axial uses Spectrum(which I have in my Wraith 1.9)

Tactic is what Axial used to use.

Re-center the throttle trim and re-calibrate the ESC, that should fix the issue.

Are you connecting the battery without your transmitter on?

If so there is no signal to tell your esc what to do so it goes into default, in this case reverse.

Always turn on your transmitter, then plug in your battery...

usualy thats a problem with the esc programing not realy a big deal it could also be a issue with your radio tactic radios suck hard like that
the short term salution is the same though turn the radio on first
if you realy just cant stand it you could replace the radio and or the esc and that should fix the problem permanetly
i would replace the radio sooner than later anyway just because
