SCX10 wide XC10 mod beef tubes using stock SCX10 c-hubs/knuckles
 

Found there are some wide beef tubes to add some track to the SCX10, but most assume I want to upgrade to the larger Wraith/XR c’s and knuckles. Is there a kit
I can install to just make my axles wider using all stock bits except longer shafts? I see the extended wheel hexes, but I don’t want to screw up the scrub by giving my wheels extreme offset.

You really want the stronger, and sharper steering, XR universal joint. Plus the XR style knuckles/chubs have about 8* of kingpin inclination, helping reduce scrub radius.

Sadly, I already have a set of aluminum knuckles I don’t want to toss in the bin.

toss those knucles the og scx10 is so week the xr mod is a must for anything beyond a bone stock rig
as far as i know there is no way to make a og scx10 axle wider with out using wraith knucles and chubs even if you could.make a axle exstention you still need shafts for them and no one makes extended scx10 shafts so unless you can make axle shafts also your stuck
scx10ii axles are better if you want to make the swap but not any wider
there is a xrmod axle housing outhere thats already to go but there not cheap and your still replacing axles
you could narrow some ar60s but thats a nother axle swap

you can do it, but it is not cheap. you need 2 AR 60long side universals, but you cant reuse what you have. you need to upgrade the knuckles and C's
