Dual Shock AR44 Boomracing Hi guys! I would like to mount 2 shocks to the Boomracing AR44 axle. (It is like the original Axial SCX10II axle.) Anyone any idea how to do this? The “problem” is mounting the shocks on the bottom of the axle. Thanks for any advice! |
Re: Dual Shock AR44 Boomracing First off why would you want dual shocks? Why not tune your existing shocks (different weight oil and/or springs)? For good reason this isn't something thats folks do so you'll probably be on your own to fab up new mounts. EDIT: The rear has the space to accomplish this without clearance issues but up front I dont see how you'd add a second shock without severely limiting steering. Just look at how close your tire gets to the (stock) single shock at full lock. |
Re: Dual Shock AR44 Boomracing Maybe they're going for the 80's double shock look? |

That’d be my guess. I don’t see why somebody would do it if performance was an option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Boom Racing makes their own adapter for their 5-lug wheels, which are quite nice and well-engineered: https://www.boomracingrc.com/adjusta...k-wheel-157044 Should work on nearly any axle... https://www.boomracingrc.com/image/c...10-700x600.jpg |
