Default New shop in az

hey guys im completely new to this rock crawling and i am opening a shop/track. and i want to include a rock crawling course.

now i need your help....what would you like to see. what kind of rock do you like and would you come to it.

There is going to be a shop, at least 15 tracks, and a food court. We will be renting out cars for people to try and all this will be indoors.

now i just want to know what you as rock crawlers would like to see.

Link to the info on this one. This sounds nice. 15 tracks indoor?? I guess everyone will be running 2.4ghz radio's! I hope it all goes good. It will take a lot of financing!

As for the rocks. I would say that you just want to use what is available locally. Maybe search here and find some guys that live near you and have them give you some input. You can search by State!!

That or this place will need it's own zip code.

Do a search on building your own rock courses.... a handful of people have done this, some with good write ups on it. I think the key would be; make it challenging, and also make it in a way that it can be modified and changed regularly to keep it interesting.

Oooo, a place kinda close to me...interesting. I guess if I drive 50 miles to crawl East of Florence, I guess I can drive 40 miles into Avondale

15 tracks? Wow, that's going to have to be a large building. Are you going to allow nitro's? And...what IS your plan for all the frequencies?

You could just do two or three smaller crawling areas instead of one large one. That way you can do different types, sizes, and layouts of rocks in each.

What's your time frame?

lol so many questions.

as for the frequincy there is going to be a booth that you have to check in and if you dont have the crystals you will be able to rent them.

um we are going to be in avondale az and as for the tracks thanks for all the ideas.

If your place gets up and running I'm going to have to stop in while on vacation at the in-laws place in PHX. You should grab some small kiddie pools and place a bunch of rocks in there. Make it a tough course for people who think they are good. Would look cheesy at first but if you color the pools black and have real logs and catus spines/ribs to crawl on would make it cool. Well that's just me.

Is there gonna be a website with a live cam or anything of tha sort? You could do motion sensors to the cameras so if you linked it to a website, people can watch live.
