Well to start off hello everyone. Well I don't live in the states becasue my dad is in the USN and im 15 so currently I don't have any good cash flow other than my allowance haha. Anyway I live in Japan but the base I live on really doesn't have Sh1t around it, as far as a LHS. My thing is I want to get into RC crawling. I used to have a HPI MT2 I bought off Ebay, and well it didnt work. My brother and dad both bought bran new T-Maxxes and me being the more knowlegeable one ( I read up on the Nitro truck stuff extensively) tried to help them out. Well we got screwed and the trucks didnt work. It left a bad taste in our mouthes and thats a story for another time. Just ask. I want to do RC crawling but have no idea what to do /get. I have around 260 US saved up and could get some more money for whatever I need quickly. I have my eyes set on the Axial Scorpion kit, and don't /can't figure out what else to get or do. So I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Sorry for the long read. I'll post a list real quick so it'll help me out immensely. Motor: Servo(s): Battery: ESC: Radio: Chassis: Axial Scorpion Whatever else I need: Also I dont understand anything about the motor as far difference between brush, brushless, and all these measurements todo with the hobby. I looked at the newbie guide but found i redundant and not helpful as far as what to look for /get. I used search and looked for guides anything but i'm sure I missed or could've looked harder. I also wanna try to make it close to a 2.2 rig, not tank(heavy) type of crawler. I've already got a body but wanted to know if a HPI Land cruiser Defender body would fit. I'm sure I missed something and sorry for the long read /many q's. Thanks.

The prices won't help you much in Japan, I'm sure you can find the stuff cheaper there.

As far as hobby shops your on your own there. But alot of vendors here, will work with you personally. The best of the best are in my signature. Visionary fabrication makes Wheely King parts so disregaurd that one. Last edited by Usmc8541; 08-21-2007 at 03:12 PM.
