Just finished my first crawler but it glitches, when in reverse it will travel a couple feet and stall (except for when I put it on blocks) and when I turn either the front or rear wheels it will come to a stop. I've checked for any binding parts and that doesn't seem to be the case. I'm using Hitec 645mg servos, Novak XRS esc, Traxxas TQ3 radio (modded for rear steering) and an Integy 75t motor. Any ideas?

It sounds like you are running dual servos, are you using a reciever pack?

Is the antenna on the radio fully extended? Is the antenna on the reciever the correct length (not been cut)? Or does the antenna on the truck run near power wires or touch the chassis? These are the best places to start.

Sounds like a typical BEC problem. The XRS only has a 1A BEC. For dual servos of any kind, I would think you'd need at least 3 amps. Get yourself a receiver pack or a voltage regulator.

You can get a good BEC for about $15 shipped from overseas on eBay that should work fine. It will take power from your packs, but sufficient enough for 2 servos. Also, I have heard that the hitec + TQ3 = Glitching. Try and keep the radio as far away from other electronics as possible.
