Those look like these, am I right?

I got them a long time ago from a guy on a Kyosho Overland forum. He was casting them from a model kit. They are fantastic scale Super Swampers, very soft, perfect crawler tires.

They are going on my custom 1/24 scale.

yeah they are the same tires.....there is one more full set of them with rims at my local hs if someone wants me to pick them up i will just charge u for shipping. They are 9 bucks, and they are super soft and look awsome.

have fun,
Zack

by the way that jeep body looks sick, i bought a 1/32 scale unimog body today that i am going to try out, i shouldn't have to stretch it much to make it look scale. Pics of that will be up later.

Hey guys here are mods for the sunday afternoon lol, as u can see from the pics of my truck on the previous pages i removed the shocks completely and am only running very thin rubber bands in the rear....the difference between this and the stock articulation and cog is amazing! you can go almost anywhere. But here is my newest mod....Lookalike beadlocks. I just simply went to the hardware store and bought 1/4 inner diameter washers, they fit perfect. Glue them to the outside of my wheels and painted them metalic red. The extra weight on the axles helps even more to upset the balance of the high cog. Awsome mod for 69 cents!! I will try to get pics up again if someone can host for me again. My next mod will be a mild stretch and rc18t oil filled shocks....let me know whatch'a think.

thanks, dam! these things are adicting
Zack

Bigbadwhitey, pm me and i will give u my adress to send the money to after i pick the tires up tomorrow or the next day.

I just picked one up today. I have to say, it was smaller than I expected, but seems like it will be very capable. I am thinking that I will only be using the axles, though, possibly the center diff if it can be successfully cut out of the chasis.

The stock electronics are going bye-bye.

You diddnt enter the code correctly. Here ya go. The two other pics you linked are the same

Just curious though, why is the front axle pointing down? Does that affect anything?

Also, I'd cut the frame shorter and paint it black.

Good work!

Oh. Maybe its just an optical illusion? is the front diff really not pointed down? Because the front part of my diff is level, with the pinion pointing up. In your pic, it appears your diff is poiting down like the caster is WAAAAy out of whack.
