I used Aluminum Tube that fix over the shaft on the Axle,Then I used a tube that fix inside the trans side ,Then ya just slide it all together with some CA Glue and there ya Go. New shafts ,And any lenght ya need. Check back through the post theres pics. I'll also be Postin Updates on Mine.

Well, thats what the board is for.

Speaking of picking things apart, do your extended drive shafts still have any slip in them, or did you glue them in a fixed position?

I am going to take one of the diffs apart to see for myself, but at this point I assume they gears are pastic. My question is how much stress could they handle? Would they break under too much torque, say, a micro sized motor?

The New shafts are all Glued No slip.As far as I can tell the axles and trans are pretty strong.I have run it and Crawled for a while and no probs yet. I used the stock motoe also ,It has plunty on Torq .

It seems that the diffs are indeed strong.

I also wanted to see how much voltage the motor could handle. I hooked it up to a 4.8 volt pack and it ran fine, never got hot, seems like it can handle it fine.

I thought I would have some new pics last night, but the project was a dismal failure. I need to figure another way to mount the links. Hopefully tonight...

Heres mine, these these are alot of fun especially with these crazy rainy days weve been aving around here.

I locked the tranny (pain and the butt.........burned the tips of my fingers with hot glue),wally crawler tires, changed my shock position F/R,and cut some of the spring off to soften it and give it some more flex.

in the future im going to lengthen the wheelbase out back and put a flat bed(i like the stock body kinda reminds me of a yota with 49's) and also make a light weight exo.

Yea Mines Being Stupid,
It Axle The Splines On The Left Front Shaft,
So Where The Nut Is Sitting On The Shaft, The Splines Are NO More.
Now I Get TO Extend It While Its Apart.
