I got the Swampers on, cut the trans out of the chassis, threw out the rest. I am having a tough time, but might have it figured out. In fact, I am heading out to the garage right now to see what I can fab up...

How well does the stock servo handle the XRM's? How hard is it to swap the VMG electronics in?

I am still waiting for pics, I need to see how you managed to attach anything to the axles. I can only see limited spaces, not enough to complete the linkage.

What Kinda Run Times Are You Guys Getting Off the Stock Electronics On A Streched One. In total I Streched Mine out 2in.
1in on each side,
The length From Center Of The Axle To Center Of The Other Axle Is the Same Length As The Long Side Of A CD Case. I Put The XRM Tires On And They Killed My Runtime. So I Put The Lego TiresEThat Are Just Bigger Than The Rim. That Helped Run Time But Still Kinda Low. Tomorrow Im Gonna Hack The Chassis And Make A Totaly New One.

I can't wait Tortilla!

I think I got something worked out, I'll post pics in a bit.

In reference to the runtime question, I ran mine out of the box for about 30 seconds. Then I proceeded to tear it completely apart. I still have the axles, the rest is in the trash. I only wanted the axles in the first place, anyway.

I am using full size electronics as well. It will have an Airtronics ES-01 ESC, it has the footprint of a postage stamp. Kokam cells and mini Airtronics FM receiver as well. All the smallest parts you can get.

I know I meant XRM tires. I've killed two XRMs.

That Jeep body is from a 1/25 or 1/25 Daisy Duke model kit.

I have ideas, but so far not much true advancement on the project. I think I will wait until my mill arrives, so I can do exactly what I want the right way.

If anyone is tossing thier trucks for any reason, PM me first. I'd lke another set of axles or two!
