Default inserts for 2.2 moabs

im building a wheely king crawler got most of the parts now but dont know what to do about the foam tire inserts on the moabs, ive heard of them been cut down etc what is the best way to do this cos you dont want the sidewalls to flexy.i was thinking of maybe trying that cottom foam that is in jackets and clothing instead of the moab inserts.what do you think???
