Default Your Opinion, TXT-1. TLT1 or Clod

I want to do a crwaler and im wondering what the best would be, taking in mind the cost i go to school full time and work part time for min-wage. so whatever input you guys have would be appreciated. oh yea again, out of the TLT-1, TXT-1, Clod. you know the benefits, differences and all the other good stuff. thanks.

All are pretty pricey but Tamiya Just re-released the TLT for 80 bucks. Clods work best. Next time post this kinda question in newbie section.

Welcome to RCC!!
Take some time to read up in the different sections.
Why not look at the Axial AX10 Scorpion? Especially if you're on a full-time school/part time work budget.
That or the Wheely King are going to be your best options. The Tamiya kits are going to need the most mods to make a decent crawler.
I'd start looking in those (AX10, WK) sections for idea's myself.

I still love the TLT, good axles, plenty of upgrades available. but they do take more work to make a good crawler, but isn't that half the fun

If i were new to this, just starting out, i'd buy an AX-10, its the quickest way to get out on the rocks. Personally i love to build rigs so i love tlt axles, theyre more work but theres ssoooo much aftermarket support here on rcc for them. But the axial parts are definetly top shelf, they were designed specificly for crawling and it shows.

Clod axles are cool i guess, im not a fan, but its because i prefer shaft driven rigs. If youre building a super, clods are your best bet. Tons of upgrade parts available, tons!

TXTs are some of my favorite! But you better want to build ****, theres not nearly enough aftermarket support for them. If youre passionate about shafty rigs though, theyre the ****!!
