Question Droop definition

What is the definition of a droop rig? Doing a search I gathered a big part of is the shocks but I was wondering if there was more to it then that.

Thanks!

It doesn't use external springs. They usually use an internal spring that keeps pressure on the inside of the shock rather than the other way around...and sometimes, you can get away with just very thick oil in them and no internal springs. The droop type suspension keeps the COG lower. Feel free to correct me.... I'm probably off a bit lol
