roof rack would look cool on a jeep body. and maybe a new, bigger bumper to replace the stock one.

if you want it to crawl alot better get the diff spools. They lock the diff's so it has positive traction. they work great and they only take about 15 min to put in.

My thoughts would be spools, tires, for crawlin a 72 tooth spur, 9 tooth pinion, and deffinatly a stronger steering servo. That would make it a decent crawler or just everyday basher. Hope this helps!

if you want to keep it independant suspension but want to have it crawl better lower your center of gravity and find ways to get better clearance, unfortunately it is hard to do both at the same time. one of the things that i found that works well for a stock emaxx is to attatch the batteries to the bottom of the chassis with zip ties or something, but you would need to find something to protect them from rock rash. spools are a very good idea but you will eat driveshafts. a very simple way to make driveshafts last longer is to flip them, attatch the male side to the hub carrier, and the female to the differential. an even stronger mod is to cut a female shaft down and attatch it to the hub carrier side with a piece of male driveshaft glued inside it, and a full female shaft on the diff side. hmm...thats really confusing, ill see if i can find a pic. the is very strong and i dont know why i'm the only person (that i know of) that runs this setup

EDIT: here is a link to a pic to show what i mean for the driveshaft setup, you have to look at the axle in the background. i can post more details/pics if you want

Im confused, what are your goals with the truck? Do you want just a go fast basher? Or try and make it a better crawler? Another thing to get if you are keeping it indy suspension are RPM a-arms. Put it this way, I barely side swiped a wall at full speed in first gear and broke my front a-arms on that side. After the RPM a-arms I've hit many things at full speed in 2nd gear and have not broken them at all. So basher or indy crawler, they are well worth thier money.

For your shopping list
jeep bodies are hard to come by unless you use a hard body from nylint or newbright
moabs are also kinda expensive compared to other tires, if you can see what works best in your area/type of rocks then make your descision
a spool in front will make it handle a little different for bashing, and like I said before, you WILL break driveshafts with them
for a servo i would look here if you are on a buget

the motor/esc setup depends on what you want it to do. do you want to go fast or crawl. You also could look into the on battery/motor setup too if you really think you need something different.

my goals are to have a truck that will be able to do some little rocks. i will try and get pictures. but i live right by this place that 1:1 trucks go on, but nothing is very big. i took my wheely king there yesterday and it was just a lttle to small and didnt have enough power. but for the body i was going to get the hpi jeep and maybe braze up a exo for it. those are my plans right now? but i dont know whats best. maybe i wont do the spools they sound like to big of a hassle.

now iam painting an hpi jeep body for it, and im going to get a rear spool for more traction, also added a tp 945 servo (20$)

i want to know how fliping my driveshafts will help their strenght??
also the center driveshafts?

thanks
