Default link end questions

so i bought some traxxus link ends and they are the black plastic ones how do i make my links. there is no thread on the inside of these. do i just make my own in the plastic do i glue? i know i use threaded rod and alum. tube but not sure how to secure the link ends..thanks guys

The threaded rod diameter should be slightly bigger than the hole on link end. All you have to do is just screw it in. I dont use any glue.

Are they the Maxx or Revo size rod ends? The larger Revo ends work well with 8-32 all-thread I believe, and the smaller ones work with 4-40 or 6-32 if drilled out a tiny bit. Either way, you can just thread them on, letting the rod tap the plastic as it goes, or if you really want, you can tap them beforehand and then screw the all-thread in.
