I have a SW3 comp ready and I love it. It whoops up on my semi-stock form AX10. However its hard to beat the tubers!! |

They are both good you need to choose what best fits your style of driving. And what appeals to your visual perception of what you want to show up driving at a comp. Or what your lady likes. Lol |

SW3, GC-1, SW2, homemade..... it will come down to driver abilities in the end. If you can drive, you will make anything look good.

SW3 or GC-01...that is a hard choice.I personally run a SW3 and love it BUT Austin's chassis is an awesome setup also.It all comes down to personal preference, which do you like better. Both chassis are proven winners.I think with the proper setup, you won't go wrong with either one of these chassis.

I run a sw3 with a GC-1 link style setup. I think it's the best of both worlds. I personally like the sw3 chassis way better than the GC-1, but I like the GC-1 link setup way better than the traditional sw3 link setup. That's just my opinion though. Either way, both chassis are capable of winning any comp. With any decent chassis the limiting factor will be driver skill (which is my problem), so you'd be more than happy with either. |

Hell, I say split the difference, order one of each and use one side of each and make a SW3GC1 hybrid chassis I'm guessing on this, but they very likely create a better geometry (better link geometry, better shock set-up), and probably better gc and cog. | They actually work! Besides they have alot more adjustability than the Axial.

I have not run the GC-1 but just made the switch to an SW3. Major difference from the stock Axial chassis. The geometry on the SW3 is way better than stock, things work much smoother than they used to. Of course being in CO, I had to go with the SW3. Now when I beat Bender(Yeah Right), I did it with his own chassis!!! |
