first off, welcome to rcc.. i liked 6 oz in each front and 4 oz in each rear.. worked very well on the stock ax 10.. the stock shocks are garbage, thats how most people change thier ride height.. they change the shocks to duratrax evaders, traxxas big bores, or other 100mm shocks.. you want to make it "better".. get some losi rock claw tires, biiiiig difference over stock.. also look into the ckrc stage 2 kit and ditch the big battery for some 2/3 a cells mounted on the front axle.. oh and read read read.. thats the best tip ever.. |

yeah, if you have some memory foam or have access to some, then you can cut your foams out of that. Thats what I did. or the kreepy's or ace's are great foams too. I swapped the stock shocks wit traxxas big bores, that lowers your COG and they are a smoother performing shock IMO. lead strips are good for weight. Wrap them around your front wheels. I get them from my local fish and tackle shop. And yes, Get some losi claws. Drill holes in the rims for air. Your rockin. |

no worries, the 2/3 a's will run it great and surprisingly long.. the goat can only handle 7 cells, so i'd go with 6.. i'm sure you'll be happy.. no need for fancy stuff unless your into lipo's.. for the record, it'll only handle a 2 cell lipo..
