Default axial axals / 40 series wheels

i built up a gopher with ax10 axals and i was wondering what the pros/ cons are of using 40 series wheels. im running 2.2 right now but i was thinking of going bigger thanks.

Does anyone have first hand knowledge of 40 series or maxx size tire/wheel combos on an AX-10? I have seen this question asked several times with same same response: "you'll break stuff". Never with any proof though.

I'd love to hear from someone who has tried this and has pics to prove that it's a horrible idea. Thanks

crawls4fun has a setup like that on a beater truck of his...
the axials with the 23mm adaptors and some revo wheels. you can do it just dont put xl's on it. if you do try some light weight race tires like a step pin you will be amazed where the truck can go
