Default Just got my frist 3-speed truck!

Ok, im not new to rc crawling, but i just bought a tamiya blazing blazer from the flea market for 200(thats a dang good deal) i alsohave a 17in pimp cane with locked axels, 55t lathe motors, bta steering setups, and some other things; i also have a clodzilla 4 with the same setups, but my real question is how can i convert the blazer to a scale crawler? I know my leaf springs are way to stiff for flexing!, and i just dont know waht things i would need to use

If I were you, I'd not molest the stock Blazing Blazer chassis/suspension because they are so rare. Just put a lathe motor in it and crawl it . Leaf trucks are fun to crawl, even though they are stiff. Real stable. Or you could use just the body on a scale build of some type, but it'd be a shame to bash it up...

Those original 3 speeders are IMHO not for everyday use because of the weak links that come with 20 year old designs.

The best thing you could do is to restore the Blazer, which could cost an arm and a leg, then you'd have a lovely shelfer, that can be used occasionally for light off-raod use.

If you want a capable 3 speeder than buy a High Lift and modify the f*** out of it increase it's off-road ability.

well, the thing is that its not in that great condition, the trans doesnt even shift into 2 high; its only got 2 low and 4 wheel drive. I really just want to use the chassis and axels to build a scale rig.
