Default beadlocks?

is there a tutorial on how to put beadlocks on? i got some axial ones with axial rock lizards and i had them on (i thought)..i ran them 3 or 4 times on my WK and then after that they started to come out :S

WOW,that was backwards I agree with him though on the wrenches. Those cheapy driver sets and cheap allen wrenches will KILL the little allen bolts and grub screws.

I put the tire in the groove on the wheel first. Then place the ring over the wheel and istall all the bolts. Easy as chocolate pie

You gotta make sure the ring is tight on the wheel or the tires will come loose. After your finished mounting them.....look down inside the wheel where the lock ring meets the wheel. I've noticed if theres a gap there,the locks aren't tight and you'll stand a chance on loosing a bead.

X2. that is how I do it, never had a bead come loose. The axial's are very easy wheels to get a good bead set on.

not to ask a stupid question but did u put any holes in the rims? if u dont they dont stay on that well .... at least mine didnt.

I always drill a couple small holes in the wheels. I thought that was a given with RC wheels. One thing I've done in the past,is to drill smaller/larger holes depending on the density of the foam I'm running. Specially when your gluing a set on and don't want to cut them off again. Softer foams,I'd start out with a tiny hole and drill it bigger until I got the softness or "feel" I liked.
