Default Yet another newbe with questions?

I have been reading post on here for about 3 weeks now and have the bug bad. I just am having a hard time trying to figure out some things. I like the price of the Wheelie King, but I do not want a deadicated crawler. (But I do want to do some crawling for time to time) Is it possible to do both play running (jumping, trails,) and crawling with the same truck? I've seen it asked alot, but most answers kinda give the run around. .
What about using a tranny with 2 or 3 speeds? I have read about tranny "slack", but is that the draw back?
What about sway bars with disconnects?
And lastly (for now) what about only lengthing the rear to keep it from going wheels up so much?

What I had thought of doing was, use a WK. Turn the chassy around (bat in front), lengthen the rear a little, and regear it some. (not as low as a typ crawler but lower than stock)
What do ya think?
And by the way, I love this site, just wish my kids didn't have to have braces, food cloths and other money sucking things!!

i have a wheely king and im going to reverse the chassis too. to make it a crawler and basher just have different gearing and motors. if you lengthend the rear lnks it would help and with the battery in the front it would wheely anymore exept in reverse

rc4wd makes a 2 speed tranny and the tamiya high lifts have a 3 speed but they are big.
o yeah i got braces but im just a kid so i didnt have to pay $5,000 for them wich is kinda gay.
