| my rear axle makes a grinding noise and will not spin when i try to go up steep inclines. my axles are locked and so is the trani i was wondering if anyone knew anything about this or how to fix it |

| there is no slipper i have the axle locker kit from thecrawlerstore its been doing this for a while ive opened up the axle a few times to see if i could see anything wrong |

| the slipper is in the tranny. I would check the pinnion angle when you go up hills. the pinnion is were the drive shaft goes into the diff in the rear. when you start to go up hill, look at the drive shaft, if the angle from it, to the diff is to dramatic, it can lock up. |

| It sounds as if your differential is not shimmed properly, and the diff gears are slipping. You'll need a complete diff kit, and that should come with the shims, bearings, everything. The WK's are notorious for this problem. |

| What I meant is the ring and pinion are probably what's grinding. |
