Default R2 gearing

No flaming please - I did search with no answer!!
I just ordered an R2 tranny from RC4wd for my new tuber - my question is for those who are using an R2. What size gear for the motor? I will be using a Intgey 55t, Mamba Max - My driving style is pretty slow. Any hints as to where to start would be appreciated - thanks

What's included:

1x RC4WD R2 Black Crawler Transmission
1x 8 Tooth pinion gear
1x Clear dusk cover

Comes with an 8 tooth, and it's SLOW.

I will be running an R2D on my comp rig, and If I'm right about the 2.7:1 ratio on my axles. I should have about 80:1 with the supplied 8 tooth. That is slow! The R2 with the 8 tooth is 30:1. That ratio alone is close to the 40:1 final ratio, I run on my Wheely King. And that thing only does about 5 MPH, with a 75T Integy.

In my R2D I use a 13 tooth pinion and a 55T lathe. It is still very crawlable and I have a little wheel speed when I need it.
