Default Diameter links in alu for super class or class super scale?

Hello, diameter aluminum links for a mad force? I want to be strong and not be broken, but neither it is too big ...
Diameter aluminum or 6 or 8 diameter? rod ends which do you suggest I use? Traxxas revo or junfac 6.8 or even 10?
Thanks and greetings.

1/4" or 5/16" are the two most common sizes I see people use.

I am personally going to use 5/16 acetal rod.

5/16" is about 6mm and it mates up nicely to Revo rod ends.
