Default Best bang for the buck brushless???

Looking for some help on choosing a brushless system. I'll most likely run NiMH batts, and it will be going in an on road car. Not a race car just something I want to go real damn fast!. I have been eyeballing the VXL sytem from Traxxas, because it's cheap....like me.

Any other thoughts on a better system that won't break the bank??

Castles new Sidewinder is only $76 from Holmes Hobbies. I'm sure they have combos, but even then another ~$80 for a motor and you'd be cheapest yet.

The VXL is NOT fast unless you run 11.1 volts. 7.2v 4200 packs its about as fast as a Novak 13.5 :(
